The CX50 is a shared service ultrasound machine, equally capable in Radiology, Cardiology, Vascular, and General applications. The only thing this won’t do is 4D for OB/GYN applications. The Philips CX50 can offer 4D for cardiac applications via the X7-2t xMatrix probe. The CX50’s compact size is ideal for use in surgical suite, CCU and ICU, in labor and delivery and at satellite clinics and screening events, in the ED and OR, and in the NICU or PICU.
